The Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce (RACC™) in Miami, Miami-Dade County Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), Downtown Development Authority, City of Doral and City of Coral Gables organize a 2-day conference in South Florida for a delegation of 35 businesses from Romania
MIAMI, March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ – On March 20-21, 2019, Ms. Anda Malescu, President of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce in Florida and Managing Partner at Malescu Law, in collaboration with local partners, OEDIT, Downtown Development Authority, City of Doral and City of Coral Gables, led a Romanian business delegation to Miami, to explore commercial and investment opportunities in South Florida and learn about local economic programs. With more than 40 business executives from over 35 companies from Romania participating, this group demonstrates the Romanian business community’s interest in increasing trade with the United States.
“It is for the second time in the last 6 months that the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce is organizing an event in Miami for Romanian business leaders interested in exploring trade and investment opportunities in the region. The event in March attracted Romanian companies from the IT, logistics, real estate, manufacturing, finance and textile and food industries. In addition, local U.S. company representatives seeking to explore business opportunities with Romania were also present. The agenda included site visits to Port of Miami and discussions with Miami-Dade County Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Downtown Development Authority, City of Coral Gables, University of Miami, City of Doral and Millenia Atlantic University.
The Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce in Florida is a bilateral trade association dedicated to promoting trade and investment between Romania and the United States.
