We recently had an E-2 Investor Visa Approved and E company registration at the US Consulate Toronto for an investor and entrepreneur from Canada for an OTC Bitcoin and Crypto Trading Desk based in Miami, Florida. The Investor was granted the E-2 Visa for 5 years, the maximum period allowed under the E-2 Treaty with Canada.
The case was especially challenging given the business model – an Over-The-Counter (OTC) Bitcoin and Crypto Trading Desk- and the fact that the majority of the funds invested were in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.
