We recently had success in reversing a foreign institution’s decision denying our client the ability to record Florida issued documents in the foreign official register.
Our client sought to record documents issued by the State of Florida with the foreign authority for the purpose of conducting business in the foreign country, but the request was denied.
The client appealed the decision and in support we prepared an opinion letter on the status of the Florida law and its application to the client’s case.
We were effective in providing guidance and persuaded the foreign authority to reverse its prior decision. In reliance on our opinion, the foreign authority approved the registration of documents in the official register to our client’s success.
