Successful TN visa for Economist! We recently had a TN Visa approval. The applicant, a citizen of Canada, was granted the TN visa for 3 years, the maximum time allowed, to work in the TN occupational classification of an Economist for a healthcare company with offices in Texas and Florida. Despite COVID-19, the TN visa status was filed and approved the same day at one of the major airports in Canada.
The TN Visa also known as the TN NAFTA Professional Visa is a temporary visa that allows citizens of Canada and Mexico to live and work in the United States in order to engage in business activities in a profession listed under the NAFTA agreement and the new United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement. The applicant must also have the required qualifications for the profession and must have a job offer from a U.S. company. TN status applications for Canadian nationals are being adjudicated at many ports of entry and pre-clearance.
